Nature Preserve in Boca Raton

As a Nature Preserve, Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a 20-acre coastal preserve with a rare coastal tropical hammock. Features include a boardwalk, a 40-foot observation tower (Jacob's Outlook) with ADA accessible ramp, a butterfly garden, the Ashley Trail, and a Chiki overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. Large outdoor marine aquariums house native fish, resident sea turtles, and other marine animals. The center also hosts an onsite Florida Atlantic University marine science lab with a viewing gallery for research projects. Open most days, it serves as a tourist attraction and aquarium.
